It's Alison's Birthday~ And... That X'mas post.

Hey guys.

I've been suffering from insomnia lately.

Wonder what might be happening inside my body,i wonder.

And you know what?

Today's Alison's birthday =)

Exactly one year ago, it's EOY 2009.

Hahaha~

Such a coincidence eh?

Well,not really so.I went to collect her after the event itself.Haha~

And looking back, so many things has happened and so many things has changed.

In a blink of an eye, I've changed from a Sub-culture-immersed Punk, into a DJ.

In a blink of an eye, bonds that used to be extremely strong just seems to drift apart.

In a blink of an eye, I kinda envy the 'me' one year ago.

I guess i was more cheerful and definitely much more carefree then.

Now? Reality bit me my ass real hard from every single bloody corner.

It's just a year ago, and so many things changed. So much so, it seems so much like a beautiful dream that happened.

There's this heavy feeling inside me. It's kinda antagonizing, somehow.

It doesn't actually hurt. But rather, it bothers me alot.

It kinda irks me somehow.

Aww well, i'll take these few days to rest myself well.

Ah, anyways, we went out to Marina Bay Sands during X'mas last Saturday.

Well, how can i say? I didn't enjoy myself much actually.

Well, we went to Marina Bay Sands.

Sis got Bubblegum-flavoured ice cream.

It tasted just like the one i had several years ago in Australia.

Pretty nostalgic.

Then after that, we headed to Suntec for dinner.

We had dinner at Aston's.

Well,it was my first time there.

It's pretty good.

I had pork chop.

Mom had Fish fillet in Black Pepper sauce (Not sure what's the name of the dish).

Sis had the same with cream sauce (Same goes for here)

And after walking around, they went back to Uncle's, while i headed back alone.

Well, it rained heavily after i got off the bus =_=

Bah....

I'll end here.

I'm kinda tired.

How i miss home-cooked food...

Ah,luckily it's an off-day.

I could nap,as much as i want.

I did a number of chores today.

Changing bedsheets,bathed for Pierre,wash the clothes.

I'm proud to say,i didn't waste my day away =)

As i was chatting with Angie via SMS, i realised, i missed eating homecooked food alot.

Well, alot of reasons to answer that.

Putting taste aside, i just miss the feeling.

The feeling of bringing out the dish to the table and eat with everyone.

Now,it's rarely done... Everyone is eating at their own place.

Come to think of it, i really miss the past.

Some are not that distant, some are otherwise.

Tch,i'll stop here.

Or it'll get emo and stuff.

Another sleepless night....

Yes i'm here,dead in the middle of the night.

I can't sleep.

Haunted by the same thoughts that kept me wide awake some time ago.

I guess this is all is just part and parcel of life...

I remember,some of my girl friends did told me...

How much they miss not being like how they used to be with their elder siblings.

And all....

They sounded rather sad when they told me that.

So i always told myself,our bonds should never change.

I will try not to change anything,as little as possible.

But i guess,things still will change no matter what.

Even if i never change,she will eventually.

No matter how close two people are, there will be distance.

This is what Kyori use to tell me, the meanings behind her nickname.

I still could remember.

How much she lament on not having a friend in school.

I would then tell God.

If only she could have friends, even if it means i would be lonely.

Somehow rather, God did made this true.Very true.

Then now as i think back, am i actually regretting what have i wished for?

But nevertheless, i should be happy for her.

Well,as what they say...

As long as she is happy,i am happy....Well,not so happy....

But...it's already good enough...

I'm sorry if i sounds like a teenager ranting and all.

I can't fall asleep,yet i feel so tired...

Bah,just back from Ray's place not so long ago.

Recording and streaming onto Ustream.

Well,it went well,i guess? For my part.

Needless to say, Ray did good =D

Anyways,we went Sentosa on Wednesday as a school field trip.

You could call it an excursion.

It was a totally fun trip,yet kinda like a sad one.

It was the last day that our Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) facilitator is teaching us.

There'll be someone new to take over when school resumes.

Anyways,on our way there,i guess we took the coolest bus i have took since so long ago.

It's a normal tour bus,but with this

It kinda glows when entering dark place.

Ah,we were supposed to complete our worksheet by touring there.

But well,we just complete it beforehand at some pavilion in Siloso,the very one place that we were at during the double-date last year.

At the beach,strolling along Palawan, i saw this family of a mother and daughter with these two baby =)

Having them in the family,sure is opposite from what normally people would expect it to be.

Like um, people always have this perception of 'Dogs and Cats can never go along well'

Well,you know what? These two are like so freakin' close.

Ah,so cute~

Towards the end, we went to this amphi-theater which has this large christmas tree in the middle.

It's so nice.Hahaha~

Anyways,yesterday's EOY 2010.

Hmmm...

Well,perhaps i've really grown out of such events and all,i guess.

I didn't find myself enjoying about it as much as i do last year.

As much as i wish to say that it is the venue (it's in RP's TRCC by the way) ,

It wasn't.

Not that the vendors and stalls was bad or anything,but rather, i just lost my interest, or just doesn't appeal to me at all.

Um,and out of all the cosplayers which actually crowds the area, very less of them actually appeals to me.

Tsk,and not to say anything or what, i think that only my friends and some others appeal to me.

Ok,enough of the bad stuff.

Luna is as great as always =)

And Sis's friend was doing great for his first time.

There's this cosplayer who's doing a character (i'm not sure of which character is from or what),

but she's just appeals to me.

Why?

Doesn't she reminds you of Kuchisake Onna? =D

Most probably from some anime.

But it's really cool =)

Ah,last but not least, another of Sis's friend.

Ah,she's pretty much a good cosplayer,from what i know.

I'm blogging in class just now.

I'm sleepy...

Well well,it's lunchtime anyways,and i'm waiting for Gibson =_=

Anyways,it's late at night now actually.

I saved it as a draft in school.

You must admit, the uploading speed in school..Superb.

Ah,we had Restaurant Practicum yesterday.

It's fun,especially when you're the bartender.

Although it's dang stressful ( it is really stressful, but i guess it stresses my partner more. ),

it's really fun,especially after class ends.

Why? With permission of facilitators, we got to mix mocktails and cocktails.

With these.

Great,isn't it? =D

After class, my facilitator did some cocktails.

Like Grasshoper, one type of Martini and another mix.

It's not bad, but it's not to my liking,i'm afraid.

Haha~

I did my mix of Italian Soda.

First up was this mix of grenadine, mojito and soda.

Supposed it to have this sweet berry taste which tasted like cherry then followed by a minty after-taste.

And well~ It did =D

Next was the same mix, just that i replaced Soda with Cola.

Love its colour.

This layered effect of red and black, both my favourite colour.

Suprisingly, there's a heavier minty after-taste

If i were to name this two, i might just name these two after Sis or something.

'cause when i was doing the mix, i was thinking of something that Sis might like.

Or perhaps a 'parody' of her personality of some sort.

"Sweet, yet spicy (Kind of?)"

If i can mix again next week, i might wanna replace Mojito with vodka.

I wonder if the spicy taste could be replaced by the dry taste of vodka.

Haha~

And after class ended, i stayed back, along with Haiqy.

We came up with this, after i asked him for ideas.

He said something like "anything with Mojito."

So i did, adding green apple, mojito and soda.

It tasted like chewing gum,apple mint or something.Haha~

After that, finding i added Mojito a little too much, which resulted too much of the chewing gum mint taste, i decided to add something sweeter.

I added strawberry syrup.

It resulted in a rather rosy colour.

Well,it tasted more like chewing gum instead =_=

Hahaha~

Finishing everything,i clear up the mess that i did.

Man....

I like the washing facility.

Hahaha~

Seems so cool.

So thing is this.

When you wanna clean the cup, you 'scrub' it with the right cylinder.

It brushes the cup with soap.

Then you wash off the foam with the cyclinder on the left.

You just place it there, and voila~

It sprays water.

Hahaha~

So fun~

Oh yes, and the dessert for yesterday's menu was Creme Brulee.

Oh yeaaa, it tasted heavenly.

It tasted like the egg inside egg tart. (Well, it's custard afterall )

Man... It's my first time tasting it, and definitely not my last time =D

After Gakuensai... And into another Monday in another 8 hours or so...

Hey people~

Finally,Gakuensai was over.

Thanks everyone who worked hard for it.

And i'm so sorry for messing up.

I'm really sorry for it.

But it did let me re-live my dream,singing up on stage.

But i guess,it's scary for me.My hands went numb when i was on stage.

Guess i have stage frights too.

Worser than when i was on BeatzFusion.

Maybe 'cause it was on the decks instead of using my vocals.

But i really wanna sing and sing again.

But not forget the lyrics.

I messed up yesterday's show.And caused alot of troubles.

I'm really sorry.

I'll make sure i will not sing unless i'm really sure of the lyrics.

I sang Tsuki no Uta on the first day.

They said i did well.But i messed up on the last few parts.

It went off course.

Saturday was worse. I sang Plastic Tree's Makka Na Ito.

I forgot the lyrics.

I panic-ed too much.

There was Japaneses down there.And i just got too nervous and...

I'm really sorry.

But if there is another chance to sing,i will.

I wanna redeem my wrong doings.

And not repeat my mistakes.

Then again,with this,i can also apply to other things.

I must not go ahead without being fully prepared.

I cannot afford to do thing with a 'just do it' attitude.

Well,not all the time though.

But this event really make me love singing more.

Anyways,i bought a number of goodies yesterday,along with Ray.

For today,i woke up with muscle aches all over my body.

And went to work only to know i'm off today =_=

Went with aunt to pray at the temple near Telok Blangah.

We dropped by to Vivo after that.

Dead fatigue,i didn't enjoy myself.

But well,before we left there,there was a sale at St. Louis in Habourfront mall.

Some accessories at only $3.90.

Pretty worth,so i bought gifts.
