We went from Marina Square to Merlion Park, from Asian Civilization Museum to Clarke Quay, then to Liang Courts then finally Orchard Road.
And all was planned only at the moment.
I'm pooped....
But having said that, i'm here, doing my blog post about today's little 'misadventure'.
So it all started with me being late meeting them.
Yea, meeting time was 2 pm and i met them only after 3.
Must kill this bad habit of mine, especially when my future workplace will be at a 1.5 hour journey from my place. And it is an established establishment.
Anyways, we met at the atrium of Marina Square and decided to head to the roof of Esplanade.
Man... Sure it was hot.
It's the middle of the day and i was wearing black.
But aww well, that's the joy of being in Singapore, i guess?
But at day time, it's really good to take picture.
With enough light exposure, the pictures turn out good.
Which only makes me more guilty about not bringing Kathy or Alison out.
They've been lacking love these few days.
After that, we headed to the Merlion Park.
On our way there, we saw this building which looks pretty much like those by the seaside.
True enough, it was named 'Boat House'. What a befitting name, right?
At the Merlion Park, what amazed me wasn't the Merlion, but the rainbow created by the spray.
But the spray just blows onto us.
As much as it feels good, we gotta shade away from it, right? Haha~
Next, we went to the Asian Civilization Museum.
It was my first time there. And the first exhibits i saw amuses me quite alot.
Statues from old China with modern accessories, how amusing~
The special exhibits for this time was the terracotta army.
But i think it's the replicas of them.
What do you think?
We walked down to Clarke Quay, via Boat Quay.
It's been years since i walked along there.
It definitely has the early evening feel when pictures are taken there.
And it does have the relaxed, chill feel =)
On the random note, here's a few fierce crabs.
While i was suprised by their large sizes, they were pretty hostile.
They seem like they were ready to pinch me with their pincers any moment.
But anyways, we had our dinner at Songfa Bah Kut Teh, at the shophouse beside Central.
Yes, we had Bah Kut Teh, and it taste superb, just like the previous few times i was there.
Had my milk tea from Gong Cha too =)
And like always, Clarke Quay always have the great late evening scene as always (Dear gosh, what am i saying?)
I can't help but to compare it with my last few excursion trips there.
Reminiscence, in a sense.
Likewise, it goes the same with night scene =)
We went Liang Courts and headed for its Kinokuniya there.
We fooled around.
You know, boys are boys. You can't beat that =D
And i saw this manga with this cover.
I will definitely show this to the hairdresser uncle.
I wanted this hairstyle since so long ago.
I want it, at least before i go for my National Service.
We headed to Orchard, walked there by foot.
On our way there, i was rather disappointed that i could not go to the outside of Singapore Arts Museum.
Heard there was a light display or something, sounds pretty awesome.
Caught a glimpse, and it saddens me even more.
Anyways, there was some horror movie screening outside National Museum of Singapore.
It was an old school movie, if you asked me.
And it actually has that ambiance.
It's much of a pity too, that we can't stay to watch, due to the lack of time.
Oh yes, why, you asked?
Ah Xian wanted to get a novel from Kinokuniya, but the condition was bad in Liang Court's, so we decided to head to Ngee Ann City's.
In the end, we didn't buy anything.
Oh yes, while passing, we saw the grand opening of H&M.
Wait, wasn't it supposed to be tomorrow?
Aww well, anyways, it looks cool inside.
Most probably i will head in tomorrow? If i'm there, that is.
Gotta catch some sleep now, guys.
Nite~
