The post where i talk about NatsuMatsuri

Hey guys~
After for so long,i'm back~
Well,for a while.Hahahaa~
For these while,i'm actually enjoying life to its fullest...
Well,sorta~

Actually,i was gaming.
I was playing maple.
Hahaha~
Reliving the nostalgia of playing maple.So ya,back to mapling.
And the more i play,the more i think that i am a hikkikomori.
I'm not going out of the house unless for work or school.
Well,or some groccery shopping.
Well,this is good,i'm not spending more than what i should.Haha~

Ah,and last week,we went to Natsu Matsuri, or Summer Festival at Japanese Primary School Changi Campus.
I must say,it's a blast.Totally~
Well,except for some minor hiccups,everything was cool =)

We went to the Festival by school bus. (Well,since i'm performing there for the storytelling/play)
We went to school early to practice. And also,we learnt how to dance bon odori.
Well,a few songs...And suprisingly,there's songs like Chan Mali Chan. Cute yes?

Reaching the campus... Well,we were 'greeted' by crowds.
Well,it was crowded everywhere,everyone was queue-ing.
See? Isn't it crowded?
I was so relieved we had 'booked' tickets prior to the event.
Thus,we can enter at ease.

Entering the event space,it's more crowds.
It's seriously crowded... Though the crowd wasn't what i had expected.
Supposedly,i thought it was crowded with Japanese,local or otherwise.
But instead,it was crowded with locals,well,and a minority of Japanese.
But aww well,at least there is.
Hahha~

But i must say,Japanese are very very shy,from what i have observed from the event.
I have spoken to a few (well,i was passing out the brochures)
And yea,they're very reserved.Well,perhaps too reserved.

Ah,and while 'patrolling' around,i saw this
Traditional tea sets and pottery~
Nice,don't you think?
Man... But it's expensive.
The event showcased a big number of awesome stuffs...
And tagged with 'awesome' prices T^T
So people like me,who is full at heart and empty at the pocket,were pretty disheartened by it.

So as night came,the festival hits somewhat of a higher note.
With a stage at the middle of the field,there was performances,and there were crowds gathering at sides.
Well,but our performance wasn't on the stage.Haha~
Aww well,it'd be too scary actually.Hahaha~

And without saying,the highlight of it was the Bon Odori.
Hahaha~
It's great,the atmosphere and all.
I didn't join it though.I'm pretty bad at it.
Besides,i'd only learnt it earlier that day.Haha~
But trust me,if i were to have a chance next year,i'd most probably join in the dance.
It seems so fun,everyone was enjoying it.
Haha~

And also,there were games....
And the prizes were pretty cool.Well,that's the lure of the games.
Hahah~
Sis played,i didn't.
I had to prepare for the storytelling/play.
So yes.

And we met up with Uncle Alex and his family.
Ah,Tessa and Hannah are growing up to become fine ladies.
Hahaha~
They are so cute.
And the last time i saw them was two years ago.Haha~
And now they were...well,still small,but they are more grown up.
Haha~
But they are cute.
Should've took pictures of them.Haha~

Ah,but i must say,everything that day,was great.
You know what?
I should rent a yukata next year.Or perhaps,i should get one myself.
Hahaha~
It looks nice.
And Sis... She looks great in it.Hahaha~

Ah,gotta go back training my maple character...
And bath for Pierre =_=
