The finals held at Phuture~

Yes, it was a long day.
And congrats to Ray on getting runner-up for his first competition that he took part in =)
But as i am typing away here, he should be using one of his prizes, the Lenovo laptop.
It's really cool.
Though the DDJ Ergo appeals to me more... Since i do not have any mixing equipment at all.

Anyways, the day started something like this...
It started as meeting Jun Yao and Boon at Lot 1.
Soon, Isaac and Wayne joined us.
Then we headed off to Suntec to have lunch.

Yes, we went to Aston's to have our lunch.

Not the first time, but nevertheless, it's still good =)
Well, had this for lunch.

Chargrill Chicken Chop with Fries and Pasta salad.
Pretty filling stuff uh?
Well at least it kept my hunger at bay till dinner time.

We headed to the IT fair after that.
And...
I did check out on the prices of Hard Drive.
I desperately need one, since i need to store stuff from my laptop, which is gonna explode from the full memory anytime soon.
The prices are attractive, but sure they do not come cheap. And, i have not much to spare, to be honest,
Especially my pay is not in yet, much later than expected.

After that, then we headed to Phuture.
It wasn't the first time that we went to Zouk, but it was the first for Phuture.
The interior design was simply something i'd really love.

And boy sure do i love the LED screen.

It's like a childhood dream to own a LED screen at home when i have my own house, along with a bar and mixing deck (Though the mixing deck part comes much much later than childhood)

Makes me so curious how would Velvet Underground be like.

The night was awesome.
Everybody playing for the night was awesome.
To be honest, since only 2 contestants would win the prizes (Champion and runner up), it would never be fair for everyone who had joined.
Since in my opinion, everyone is extremely good.

In the end, Ray won the runner up, and Shai, the Champion =)
So what Ray got was a laptop, DDJ Ergo and a headphone (the same model as what i am having now).
That's his just rewards for working so so hard for the competition.
Once again, i must congratulate him on his win, as well as Shai.
Oh yes, Shai got another headphone, which looks extremely sleek.
If i can and afford to, i would definitely save up and buy that.

On a side note, before the event started, i went to the bridge nearby.
And guess what i saw...

Yes, it's a golden retriever. But look so different from Kodi.
And, the bridge looks totally fantastic especially at night.

Oh yes, and after the whole thing, we went back to have dinner.
So this is what i had.

Roasted duck rice with roasted pork.
As good as always, as it fills my tummy =)
After dinner, we chatted about interesting things that happened in the different camps in our Secondary school life.

It was simply interesting and nostalgic.

Ah...
Definitely enjoyed myself.
And i gotta go now.
