I have been severely procrastination.
Lazy me....
Anyways, i will just put my experience with my Genting Trip in this one post.
Went to dinner with Ryan's Mom and Dad before going for the trip.
They brought us to this industrial park in Changi, not too far from Changi Point.
We had Japanese Cuisine at this restaurant that was situated there.
My gosh, sure it was expensive, but it's all good.
Freshness is what Japanese Cuisine emphasise, and that's what they offer there.
I had Maguro (Tuna) Don.
And as you know, i'm more of a salmon fan, but it's all good.
I'm loving that as well.
Overall, i find it a cosy place.
But there isn't much people when we were there, perhaps due to the fact that we arrived before the opening time.
But as we were leaving, there are two large groups of family dining there.
Soon after dinner, we went to Golden Mile Complex for the bus ride.
Boy, sure was it rowdy there.
With foreign workers drunk like a fish, there was ruckus here and there.
But well, there's Thai Clubs/Pubs there. Guess that's where some of my friends frequent for some Thai disco dancing i guess.
While in the bus, i couldn't really stay asleep.
I was curious how outside is like.
Peeping out the window like a kid, while listening to relaxing beach House.
But the sand man sure did his job, and i fell asleep at the foot of Genting.
It was like a short nap, before waking up and reaching the top.
When we exited the bus, Sis and i was slightly shocked by the temperature.
It's like a direct opposite of what buses and the weather here.
It sure was cooling outside.
While waiting for our turn to check into the hotel, we hanged around in Starbucks.
Well, guess it's the weather that made a cup of hot chocolate something from the heavens.
Perhaps cold weather makes hot stuff taste good.
Soon, dawn came and peering out the window, we saw a scenery you don't really get to see here.
It was just nice. The feeling, isn't easy to describe.
Since it was years since i last saw it.
When checked into the hotel, i changed into a coordinate which i wouldn't do in Singapore.
Yes, it's just double-layering clothes with the longer sleeved clothes in the inside.
I used to go for this style since the sleeves was just sewed on.
But it seems like it's hard to find them these days.
And it wouldn't make sense for me to do it like what i did here in Singapore, since it would be too hot.
I don't fancy dying of heatstroke or sweating, when i can prevent it.
So, there you have it.
So for the rest of Day 1, it was just getting familiar with the place.
Seeing it after many years, it sure feels different.
Though i do remember the little episode of me crying over Dinosaur Land.
I guess i was a fanatic of the Jurassic when i was a kid.
For Day 2, i went for a different get up.
It is the usual T-shirt + Cardigan.
I love it, it was comfortable and all's good when that happen.
Even with a cold cold weather.
It was fogging up there.
Feels so much like a scene straight out of Silent Hill.
But the weather makes it really pleasant.
We spent Day 2 cooping at the arcade, with Sis playing with this stress-relief game.
It consist of you banging and flipping tables, which we took pleasure doing so... very much.
And look at all the tickets we have won.
In the end, we used it to exchange a gift for Ryan.
Dining there was quite an expensive thing, especially when you're not putting fast-food as one of the options.
You see, a plate of chicken rice like this...
... costs about S$8 or so.
Pretty pricey, especially when you had taste much better variety of it at a much lower cost.
Pretty pricey, especially when you had taste much better variety of it at a much lower cost.
So we had dinner buffet.
So the restaurant was something like this.
It offers a wide range of cuisine.
And i took the liberty to try out all of them.
First, i attacked the Japanese Cuisine, like an appetizer.
Then i headed for Western. Love how i did for the plating.
Then i tried the Indian Cuisine, with Naan and Curry.
And i summed it up with a slice of watermelon.
Of course there was some things here and there. But i was just too lazy to take all of them.
Before going back to the room after the dinner, we went to take a look at the bowling alley.
It was recommended by Sis's friend.
And i find it rather intriguing too.
Though i didn't play that day.
On the third day, i went for something more normal.
Like those cold days in classrooms.
Since i'll be going back later that day, with the weather going far more warmer than it was up there.
And nothing much was done, except for a lunch.
Yes, it's chicken rice again.
But this time, it tasted a little better.
But what made me happiest was these.
Yes, Popteen.
And....
It was my first time trying this.
I know it's dead over-dued.
But it's real cheap and... Miliyah Kato was just so cute on the cover.
And that's about it.
I went back, reading the magazines i got and enjoyed the bubble gums i got.
See?
Cheers~
